Aliens

I had some pretty suspicious events occur in my house yesterday that I can’t think of good explanations for. It started with a wine glass.

The wine glass was sitting where the Starbucks cup is in the dish drainer.

When I turned the faucet on, the wine glass fell and broke! I didn’t even touch it, bump it, or go near it! Aliens.

My next alien encounter was the freakiest of all. Above our kitchen table we have some decorative tiles that have been hanging there for about two years.

Without warning, the middle tile fell and crashed on the table, right next to where I was sitting! Again, aliens.

The aliens are also messing with my iPhone. It won’t connect to the charger when it’s plugged into some outlets, but it works with others. When it was plugged into my iHome, the iHome kept turning on and off despite being plugged in. Definitely aliens.

I was supposed to stay at my house alone last night, but with all this alien business going on, I did not want to sleep here by myself. Instead, I slept at my friend Hilary’s house (she lives right down the road). No aliens over there!

I slept pretty badly though; between the frogs from her pond croaking all night and sleeping on the floor, it was a rought night. Oh well, beggers can’t be choosers! I know if I had stayed in my own house I would have slept pretty bad too for fear of an alien abduction ;)

When I got home I was starving so I whipped up a bowl of banana oatmeal. The best way to make banana oats is to use a really really ripe banana. We had one banana left that nobody wanted to eat, and it was in perfect banana oats shape!

Overripe is just right!

I mixed it with a packet of multigrain raisin spice oatmeal, frozen blueberries, peanut butter, cinnamon, and cooked it all with almondmilk coconutmilk.

Enjoyed with a big mug of coffee!

I have a busy day ahead of me! I’ll be playing house cleaner for some extra cash and going to my first (and probably only) graduation of the summer!

Enjoy your Saturday!
